    Description

    Joe Epstein, 22, ship's cook third class, is pictured here. He is shown standing against a bare wall, dressed in Navy uniform and smiling for the camera. He was stationed at air bases in the New Hebrides and Admiralties 18 months. He is now spending a 30-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Epstein, 3025 Jennings, Fort Worth, Texas. He has been in the Navy three years. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, June 28, 1945.
