Description
Corporal (Corp.) James W. Preston, of the United States Army, is home on a twenty-one day furlough. He is spending the time off with his uncle James F. Preston. Corporal (Corp.) Preston will report to Hot Springs, Arkansas at the end of his furlough for reassignment. He has spent the past thirty-five months serving in hospitals in Australia, New Caledonia, and New Guinea. He is shown standing against a wall, dressed in a military uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 6, 1945.
