Coast Guard Electrician's Mate First Class Billy D. Taylor, 19. He is wearing a Coast Guard uniform. He served 18 months sea duty in the Atlantic. He recently spent a nine-day leave with his mother, Mrs. H.C. Sanders, of 1301 1/2 South Main Street, Fort Worth, Texas. He participated in engagements in North Africa and Sicily on a destroyer escort. He attended Paschal High School. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 2, 1944.
