Description
Private First Class Dan Nowell, stationed at Fort MacIntosh, Laredo, in a mechanized cavalry unit, is spending a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Nowell, formerly of Fort Worth, now of Grand Prairie. He was foreman with the Fort Worth Health Department before enlisting in November, 1940. Private Nowell is shown standing against a bare wall and wearing military uniform. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 26, 1944.
