The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Junior is highlighting several star employees in a recent addition of their employee centric newspaper. Ensign Russell Lee Vinson is a former Star-Telegram employee. He left the newspaper to join the United States Navy. He recently graduated from Midshipman's School in Plattsburg, New York, as an ensign. He will spend a short leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Vinson, at home in Lake Worth, Texas, en route to his new assignment. Ensign Vinson is shown in his official military photograph, wearing a Navy uniform. This is a copy of his framed portrait photograph. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Junior, June 30, 1944.
