Description
Left to right, Staff Sergeant Otwell Timmons and brother Corporal William J. Timmons. They are the sons of Mr. Wallace E. Timmons and are former residents of Graham, although their father lives in Tulia. Bill last saw his younger brother shortly after the latter had enlisted in the field artillery in 1937. Corporal Timmons entered the Army himself in September of 1941, spending the last 19 months at the Fort Worth Army Air Field. The two have corresponded regularly. Corporal Timmons and his wife live at 601 E Allen with R. M. Walker, a relative. In this picture, they both are standing against the wall and wearing their military uniform. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, evening edition, May 9, 1944.
