Description
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Junior is featuring several star employees. Pictured here left to right, are Dolly Barmann and Marie Wood. Mrs. Barmann, a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, works in the newspaper's credit department. She has been living in Fort Worth for 12 years. She is interested in food, flowers, horses, people, poker and her husband, Paul. Her ambition is to sit in a park with plenty of trees and "not do nothing". She is wearing a blouse, blazer, eyeglasses and a brooch. Miss Wood, official mat boy, works in the display advertising department over a month and loves the job. She likes to sing, write, and her ambition is to appear at the "Met" some day. She is dressed in a blouse and a floral jumper. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Junior, April 21, 1944.
