The Ward family has four siblings serving in the military. Pictured here, left to right, are Staff Sergeant (Sgt.) Durell Ward and Corporal (Corp.) Billy Joe Ward. They are serving with the United States armed forces. A brother, Sergeant (Sgt.) J. B. Ward is serving at Camp Edwards, Massachusetts, and a sister, Miss Frances Ward, is joining the Women's Army Corps. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Ward. Staff Sergeant (Sgt.) Durell is in Ireland, and Corporal (Corp.) Billy Joe is in Fort Myers, Florida. The brothers are shown in their official military photographs, dressed in their military uniforms.
