Description
Elmer L. Searcy, former employee of the Rock Island Railway Company auditing department, as he prepares to leave the office after 30 years of service, since the auditor's office is permanently closing. He is sitting at a desk, packing "odd and end" from his desk. He is wearing a collared shirt, necktie and eyeglasses. On the desk is a typewriter and several files. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 16, 1940.
