Description
The swift Don Frye, last year a halfback for the Arlington Heights High School Jackets, has been converted into a center. Don, at 160, is lightest of the starting Jacket linesmen. Mr. Frye is wearing his football uniform with a jersey with a number 1 on it worn over his shoulder pads, pants, and cleats. He is also wearing glasses. He is kneeling on the field and holding a football to the ground in his right hand and his helmet in his left hand. Star-Telegram Morning, September 15 1940.
