Parents, fans, and alumni have high hopes for the Polytechnic High School football team. They have one of the toughest offensive lines of any school in the District 7AA. Their starting lineup left to right is J. C. Phillips, Reese Moullar, Kenny Baker, Burt Watkins, Robert Wilson, Orville Lyles, and James Jones. On the back row are Buddy Peacock, Bayne Anderson, C. D. Allen, and Frank Smith.
