Each of them have a piece of yarn in their hands and are raveling the old yarn the sorority collected for the Red Cross. Miss Sanders is wearing a checkered skirt and a short-sleeve shirt, Miss Crowley is wearing a closed checkered jacket and Miss Nicholas is wearing a jacket with a blouse and checkered skirt underneath. Behind them a fireplace can been see further back.
