    Description

    Old Wool Campaign. Ruth Martin (left) and Nancy Poston, Girl Scouts working on old sweater drive. The two girl scouts are shown sitting down on a small, brick staircase and sorting through the discarded woolen sweaters they collected for the Red Cross. Ruth sits on a higher stair than Nancy and holds up a striped sweater from her lap as Nancy looks on with her own sweater. Both are dressed in girl scout uniform and Ruth is also wearing a pair of glasses. Next to the girls is their collection basket with the sign. "Red Cross Old Sweater Drive", on it. Next to the basket are other sweaters that have been collected along bunches of yarn.
