The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is running a feature on some of the most outstanding ranches of Texas. The Halbert Ranch is owned by Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Halbert in Sonora, Texas. Mr. Halbert is president of the Texas Polled Hereford Association. The property has been is his family since 1890. Pictured is the living room of his recently constructed ranch house. The couch was constructed from oak trees on the property. Also in the living room is a coffee table in front of the couch, and an end-table at the left.
