The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is running a feature on some of the most outstanding ranches of Texas. The Halbert Ranch is owned by Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Halbert in Sonora, Texas. Mr. Halbert is president of the Texas Polled Hereford Association. The property has been is his family since 1890. The Halbert home is pictured among a cluster of oak trees. The structure, built with stone-faced bricks, was recently completed.
