The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is running a feature on some of the most outstanding ranches of Texas. The Halbert Ranch is owned by Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Halbert in Sonora, Texas. Mr. Halbert is president of the Texas Polled Hereford Association. The property has been is his family since 1890. A herd of Mr. Halbert's registered Herefords are shown in a corral on the property.
