Description
The Consolidated Aircraft plant has organized their first athletic team. The "Bomber" baseball team is playing in the amateur Major City League. Their amateur players are Private Vincent Devaney, left, and Manager Texas Carleton. Private Devaney will open on the mound for the Major City All-Stars at LaGrave Field. Private Devaney is squatting on the field. He is dressed in his military uniform. Mr. Carleton is crouching on the field and smoking a cigarette. He is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers.
