Description

The 1942 Golden Gloves National Tournament is being held in Chicago, Illinois. Corporal J. Olcott Phillips is one of the Texas Golden Glove Champions competing in the tournament. The heavyweight is being proclaimed a winner by the referee. Phillips is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and a member of the 36th Division of the United States Army. He is wearing boxing trunks, gloves, and a robe. The referee is wearing a suit.
