Description

One of the most closely watched deep wildcats in North Texas is the Sinclair Prairie Oil Company No. 1 Jones, Singletary survey, one mile east of Forrestburg in Southeastern Montague County. Shown at work on the well, left to right, are: G. F. Braham, Roy Franklin and C. E. Edwards. They are wearing work clothes and hard hats and working at a wooden structure. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1942.
