The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Hubert Gray is holding a trophy, following his winning match. Gray, of Wichita Falls, Texas, is the champion of the bantamweight division. He is still wearing his boxing gloves and has a towel over his shoulders. Bandages are covering cuts above both eyebrows.
