Description
The second annual Kirven and King Ranch Field Day is being held near Waxahachie, Texas. J. D. Kirven and J. I. King are partners in the breeding of the Herefords at their ranch. A number of friends are in attendance to see the cattle, pastures, and barns. Enjoying the barbecue, left to right, are George W. Barnes and A. L. Ward. Mr. Barnes is a beef cattle specialist at Texas Agricultural and Mechanical College. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, three-piece pinstripe suit, and a coat. Mr. Ward, of Dallas, Texas, is with the National Cottonseed Crushers Association. He is wearing a cowboy hat, suit, and a coat.
