Description

The second annual Kirven and King Ranch Field Day is being held near Waxahachie, Texas. Pictured left to right are J. I. King and J. D. Kirven. They are partners in the breeding of the Herefords at the ranch. They changed their farm program and took up raising cattle. Now they make more money from cattle than off the 2,000 acres of farmland. More than 500 people are attending the field day. A number of friends and family members are in attendance to see the cattle, pastures, and barns. Mr. King is dressed in a hat, suit, and a coat. Mr. Kirven is wearing hat, collared shirt, necktie, and a coat.
