    Oil man W. R. (Bill) Boyd Junior (Jr.), (left) is pictured with Paul McDermott. Both men are standing side by side, wearing suits and ties and smiling for the camera. Mr. Boyd Junior (Jr.) is executive secretary of the American Petroleum Institute (API). He is a native of Teague in Freestone County. Mr. McDermott is attorney with the Sinclair Prairie Oil Company. Mr. Boyd Junior (Jr.) is strongly backed by Texas Oil men for the vacated presidency of the American Petroleum Institute. He has been visiting Fort Worth during the past several days, attending the interstate Oil Compact Commission. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 19, 1941.
