Description
The Texas State Democratic Convention is getting under way in Mineral Wells, Texas. Some of the familiar faces in attendance are John B. Collier Junior, left, Mrs. H. V. Shank and Elliot Roosevelt, back. They are shown reading their petitions for reelection, which were signed by the Tarrant County delegates. Mr. Collier is dressed in a pinstripe suit with a "Roosevelt" campaign button. Mrs. Shank is wearing a hat with a veil, beaded sweater, and a skirt. Mr. Roosevelt is the son of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He is dressed in a double breasted suit.
