    Description

And Were Goodfellow Gifts Welcome. "My Pluto can beat your truck," was the challenge of this 7-year-old boy, left, to his 8-year-old companion as the two straddled the porch banister and grinned over new toys which The Star-Telegram Goodfellows deposited at their home Monday morning. Within a few hours Monday morning Christmas packs of toys, shoes, stockings, fruit, nuts and candy had been delivered to the homes of 2048 needy families. Though presents have been distributed, the Goodfellows still need your assistance to pay the Christmas bills. Two little boys and their toys given to them by the Goodfellows. Published Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening Edition December 23, 1940.
