    Shown here are, left to right, Army First Sergeant (Sergt.) Claude Knieff, playing the trumpet, Private (Pfc.) First Class Robert Nevans, playing the trombone, and Corporal (Corp.) Arvin Mosier, playing the clarinet. These men are members of the One Hundred and Forty-second infantry. They are all wearing uniforms and private Nevans is wearing a hat. Three members indulge in a little close harmony between practice sessions at Brownwood Memorial Hall. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 4, 1940.
