Three members of the Field Artillery band at Lubbock, Texas are (left to right) Sergeant (Sergt.) Robert Dickason, playing the clarinet, Private (Pvt.) R. L. Floyd, playing the tuba, and Private (Pvt.) Dale Walker, playing the trumpet. The three men are wearing uniforms and hats and sitting against the hood of a car that is parked in front of a building. They are getting in some impromptu practice. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 14, 1940.
