Description
Army troops are destined for a year's training at Camp Bowie, Brownwood, Texas. Soldiers of the One Hundred Eleventh Quartermaster Regiment were the first arrivals. Shoveling mud away from in front of the mess hall are Army Privates (Pvts.) P. L. Manis, left, and Leonard James. Both men are wearing uniforms and hats. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 12, 1940.
