    Description

    Army troops are destined for a year's training at Camp Bowie, Brownwood, Texas. Soldiers of the One Hundred Eleventh Quartermaster Regiment were the first arrivals. Army Lieutenant Colonel (Lieut. Col.) C. C. Ingram, left, and Major (Maj.) Carl S. Phinney are pictured here. Both officers are wearing uniforms, jackets, and hats. They are standing on a gravel path and gazing at the truck convoy. Colonel (Col.) Ingram is in charge of the motorcade and Major (Maj.) Phinney is motor maintenance officer of the division.
