    Three soldiers of headquarters company, third battalion, one hundred and forty-second Infantry, Abilene, are pictured here. They are, Left to right, Corporals. (Corps.) W. T. Holliday and C. G. Bullock, both of Abilene, Texas, and Private (Pvt.) D. G. Reyon of Hawley, Texas. All are wearing uniforms and hats. They are shown seated outside their home armory and enjoying a bull session while waiting for the soupy call. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 6, 1940.
