Description

Group of children directing Santa Claus to their house. They are, left to right, standing: Arthur Baird, Scotty Baird, Byron Baird, Clay Cummins and Diza Ann Hyde; seated, left is Betty Baird and top, Sujane Baird. Scotty and Sujane, children of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Baird, 2111 Warner Road, are great-grandchildren of Mrs. Ninnie Baird, who is the grandmother of the other children. Betty and Arthur are children of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Baird. Byron is the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Baird. Diza Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edd Hyde, and Clay is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Cummins. The children are all wearing coats and are standing in a display with a model Santa sitting in a sleigh. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 22, 1940.
