    Description

Galveston quadruplets near their second birthday. Quadruplets are shown as they appeared with their parents at the recent auction of the Jinkins Hereford Ranch near Normangee. The quads were in Normangee to visit Dr. W.J. Jinkins who welcomed them into this world nearly two years ago. Auctioneer Gartin (extreme right in the picture) introduced the girls and their parents to the crowd of cattlemen. The Badgett quadruplets are (left to right) Joan, Jeraldine, Joyce and Jeanette Badgett. Their mother and dad, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Badgett, are standing behind them. Auctioneer Gartin is at extreme right. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition, November 28, 1940.
