Three military personnel are pictured here. From left to right, are Privates Tommy Gilstrap, W. T. Brannon, and M. W. Kell. All are in the Headquarters Battery, First Battalion, One Hundred and Thirty-First Field Artillery, Abilene, Texas. All are all wearing military uniforms and hats. Their smiling faces indicate that life in not so tough in the Army. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 4 1940.
