    Description

    The Texas State Democratic Convention is getting under way in Mineral Wells, Texas. Members of the committee are making final arrangements. They are left to right, John J. O'Hern, John B. Collier Junior, and Clarence Butcher. Mr. O'Hern, of Laredo, Texas, is a member of the arrangements committee. He is detailing seating arrangements in the convention hall. He is dressed in a striped short sleeve shirt, trousers, and is holding a cowboy hat. Mr. Collier is a member of the State Democratic Executive Committee. He is wearing a button-up shirt and trousers. Mr. Butcher, of Austin, Texas, is the brother in-law of Governor W. Lee O' Daniel. He is dressed in a double breasted pinstripe suit.
