    Description

Jewelry plays more important part in the current fashion picture than it has before. Shown here are the models of gadget jewelry, real gems glittering in new and modern sets of unusual beauty. Emma Marie Arnold is wearing a French import, a long necklace with a large stone medallion on a long chain that drapes on her back. She is wearing the necklace like a chocker but it could be looped around the neck to make a double necklace. She is standing in front of a mirror holding on the medallion. Her gown has a silk layered top with a bow on one strap and the skirt is sheered and gathered at the waist. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 3, 1940.
