Description
Joe D. Johnson of Fort Worth is developing a remarkable ranch property on 3,000 acres of the Northeast Texas land utilization project north of Bonham in Fannin County on which he has a grazing permit from the United States Government through the Soil Conservation Service which is operating the project. Here is Mr. James M. Longmire, guard on the project, shown with his wife. They are standing next to each other. Mrs. Longmire is in a stripped belted dress and Mr. Longmire is in a khaki uniform. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 29, 1940.
