    Description

    The State Highway Commission is making improvements to the Hood County section of Highway 377 between Granbury and Cresson, Texas. The road is an important link between Fort Worth and Brownwood, Texas where the Texas National Guard will train. The photograph shows one of the drainage structures for the new highway just west of Cresson. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 8, 1940.
