Thousands of visitors looked on as farmers of Parker County, Texas, exhibited their melons and fruits at the annual show which opened in Weatherford, Texas. R. W. Wigington, manager of the Weatherford Public Market, is shown carrying a basket of peaches. Standing behind are two unidentified men. Also behind him, at the left, is a pile of peaches on top of a burlap sack and another basket of peaches is on the floor. Wigington is wearing a long-sleeve collared shirt, a cowboy hat and trousers.
