Description

When J. N. Edens Senior entertained the farm club boys of Navarro County at the Fair grounds in Corsicana, the Hereford enthusiast and his son accompanied the Chuck Wagon Gossiper out to the Eden ranch where these pictures were made. In this picture, J. N. Eden Junior shows Eden's Publican Domino that was sold to Pablo Risso, South American cattleman who judged the Hereford breading classes at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show at Fort Worth last March. The price was $2,500 and the bull calf that was sired by Publican Domino 44th will be shipped to South America in October. Edens Junior is standing behind the Hereford's head in a fenced in area with a barn in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, August 7, 1940.
