Among the men who made the National Range Tour through West Texas were, left to right, Doctor J. G. Porter, of the United States Bureau of Animal Industry with headquarters at Lubbock, Texas, and Sam Preston, who has a ranch about 20 miles southeast of Midland, Texas. Both men are wearing suits, neckties and cowboy hats. Doctor Porter is wearing eyeglasses.
