Description

While strolling in Forest Park recently, W. P. Privette, right, of Austin, Texas, stopped to snap a picture of his son, Richard, and Bette Barnhill. Pictures such as this may be submitted in The Star-Telegram Father's Day picture contest. Winners will be published in the Pictorial Section of the newspaper. Mr. Privette is wearing light-colored cuffed slacks, a light short-sleeve shirt, oxford style shoes and eyeglasses. He is crouching as he holds a portable bellows film camera to photograph the two small children in front of him. Bette is wearing an apron-style sleeveless sundress, carrying a knit purse, and is wearing a ruffled sunbonnet. She is holding Richard's hand, who is wearing an outfit in which the short pants are buttoned to the shirt. The boy's shirt is short sleeved with puff sleeves and a lacy neckline. The photo is taken on a wooded gravel path next to a fence post.
