    Description

The Fort Worth Cats manager is posing for a photograph with a pair of young pitchers. They are left to right, Augustus "Doc" Leipelt, Manager Bob Linton, and Claude Horton. Leipelt is a twenty-six year old right-hander from South Dakota. He pitched eight scoreless innings in his second outing of the year a few days earlier. Manager Linton is a part-time catcher for the Cats, and works closely with both pitchers. Horton is preparing to make his third start and record his first win. The Fort Worth, Texas native is also a right-handed pitcher. The men are dressed in the Cats' home pinstripe uniform.
