Four generations of the Wren family photographed during a celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Hurd Wren's 50th wedding anniversary. The family members are all seated on a couch in front of a blank wall. J. Allen Wren, left, son of the couple, is holding his 14-month-old daughter, Janey Wren. Mrs. Mattie Wren, 94, mother of Hurd Wren, is seated between J. Allen and Hurd. Mrs. Hurd Wren is at the right. Mrs. Mattie Wren and the couple are all looking at baby Janey. J. Allen looks on. The men are wearing suits and the women are wearing long, dark dresses with floral accessories. The celebration was held at the Texas Wesleyan College parlor.
