The Southwestern Exposition and Track Meet kicked off Friday in Fort Worth, Texas. H. V. Wright, is an independent entry from Waurika, Oklahoma. He was formerly a track star at Oklahoma A&M. Wright won the pentathlon event at Farrington Field. He is being congratulated by Dutch Meyer, head football coach at Texas Christian University. Wright is wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants. Coach Meyer is wearing a cowboy hat and a suit. The bleachers of Farrington Field are filled with spectators.
