Description

Sheep are increasingly important in the Texas ranch and farm picture just as lambs at Texas shows. Here are some of the lambs that were in the limelight of the recent South Plains Junior Fat Stock Show at Lubbock; March 25-27, 1940. Shown here in the picture are left to right, Neil Holt with his champion lamb and it's mate that won fourth prize; Neil's father, J. E. Holt; and John Palmore, county agent, who supervised the feeding.
