Description
Sheep are increasingly important in the Texas ranch and farm picture just as lambs at Texas shows. Here are some of the lambs that were in the limelight of the recent South Plains Junior Fat Stock Show at Lubbock; March 25-27, 1940. Shown here in the picture are the three lambs that took first three places in the show: Neil Holt, Kress (left) with his champion lamb; Ewell Buckner (center) and his second prize winner lamb and Billy Joe Woolley, holding Ewell Buckner's lamb that placed third.
