    Description

    Mr. and Mrs. Szlama Zelton are refugees from Nazi Germany during the Holocaust. They arrived in Fort Worth, Texas to stay with family. The group is left to right, Mr. Abe Haller, Mrs. Zelton, Mr. Zelton, and Mrs. Abe Haller. Mrs. Haller and Mrs. Zelton are sisters who hadn't seen each other for twenty years. Mr. Haller is dressed in a suit and carrying luggage. Mrs. Zelton is wearing a hat and coat. She is carrying a suitcase with the initials "S. Z." Mr. Zelton is dressed in a hat, suit, and coat. He is carrying the remaining luggage. Mrs. Haller is wearing a button-up blouse and a skirt. They exchange pleasantries at the foot of the stairs to their home in Fort Worth. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 4, 1940.
