Employees in the Star-Telegram Classified Ad Department prior to the change of office. In the foreground, left to right, are Ruby Alcorn, Elizabeth Defee, and Grace Mitchell. On the opposite side of the ad board, left to right, are Eula Meador, Stella Leath and Lois Epps. Lula Koepp directly back of Stella Leath, and Myrtle Kirklan is standing by her side. Guy Vance, credit manager, is standing at left. Otis Stovall is standing at right. The department floor is filled with desks, table lamps and people working. The women are wearing dresses and the men are in long-sleeve shirts, trousers and ties. Mr. Stovall is wearing a vest as well. On some of the desks are telephones, as well as adding machines and stacks of paper. There are card catalog drawers and filing cabinets among the room.
