An auction for John B. Stribling & Son's hereford is being held at the Stribling Ranch. Some of the earlier arrivals to the ranch near Rotan, Texas are Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Garcia of Brownsville, Texas. They own a prominent ranch in South Texas. Mr. Garcia is dressed in a hat and a three piece suit. Mrs. Garcia is wearing a blouse, skirt and a fur coat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 6, 1940.
