Description
California physicists are in Fort Worth, Texas, testing a hypothesis. They are left to right, Dr. W. H. Bickering and Dr. H. V. Neher. In their hunt for cosmic ray data, they are examining a cellophane and wool encased ionization instrument. They plan to send it up with balloons at the Municipal Airport. Dr. Bickering is wearing a dress shirt with cuffed sleeves, a necktie, and trousers. Dr. Neher is dressed in a button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers.
